Description: Cornerstone The Church, Station Avenue, Walton-on-Thames, Borough of Elmbridge, Surrey, England. This interesting building, prominently sited opposite Walton-on-Thames railway station, was originally the Stratstone Jaguar garage and showroom. It had closed by 2008, but by 2012 was being converted into a large church for a Charismatic Evangelical congregation which had been established in 1990. It opened and was registered shortly before this picture was taken. Apart from the rounded transept-like extensions, the exterior is completely unaltered from its days as a car showroom.
