Description: Coppiced beech trees, Hodgemoor Wood These are some of the best beech coppice in the Chilterns. The trees are part of a grove of over 100 coppiced beech in the western part of the woods. It is likely that they were still coppiced by the Polish war refugees during their stay in the wood.
