Description: View from the suspension bridge near the Augustine Cut-off in Brandywine Park, Wilmington, Delaware, looking south (right side of creek is "west bank"). This is within 100 yards of the NRHP site of "Continental Army Encampment Site" listed since December 18, 1973. NRHP gives address as Lovering Ave. near Broom St., which would be on top of the "canyon rim" and coords (below) which are on the steep hillside. I'd think they would camp on the flat floodplain (there was no flood that day) below the hillside. The floodplain is fairly narrow that far south, so I'd guess the campsite to be a bit further north - that is about here. Of course the terrain might have changed since then, but it's within 100 yards of here!
