Description: Comandante John Riley, Monumento al Heroico Batallón de San Patricio. John Riley served with the Saint Patrick's Battalion on the Mexican side, during America's unjust invasion of Mexico 1846-48. His bronze bust stands on a pedestal in the Plaza San Jacinto, San Ángel district, Mexico city. It was unveiled by the Irish Ambassador Eamon Hickey in September 2010, when donated by the Mexican state.
