Description: The Hill of Crosses is a site of pilgrimage near Šiauliai, in the north of Lithuania. It is believed that the first crosses were placed after the November Uprising, in the first half of the 19th century. According to an estimation the amount of crosses and crucifixes reached 100,000 back in 2006.
