Description: Church of St. Edward the Confessor, Kempley Designed and constructed by local craftsmen and completed in 1904 to be nearer the main centre of population. St. Mary's Church lies to the north and was in an area near Kempley Brook and prone to flooding. The walls and lych gate are made from Forest of Dean red sandstone. Local stone tiles were used on the roof but have been replaced by pantiles.
