Description: Former Chirnside station. View NE, towards Reston: ex-NBR Reston - Duns - Greenlaw - Earlston - St Boswells line. After the great floods of 12/8/48, the middle section of this line (Duns - Earlston) had been abandoned and from 10/9/51 Reston - Duns lost its passenger service and this station closed, but goods traffic continued until 7/11/66. Evidently long before 1997 the station became a private house
