Description: Chief Washakie was known personally to Cyrus Dallin who was a major figure in the "Golden Age" of sculpture in the US. Dallin was well known as the first sculptor to accurately depict Indigenous People in addition to his famous works of Paul Revere and the Angel Maroni atop the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City.
