Description: Central School was the first permanent schoolhouse in Kalispell, Montana. It was built around 1895 in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, and used by the school in various ways until 1969. Today it houses the museum of the Northwest Montana Historical Society and lies in Kalispell's East Side Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places.
