Description: Carboniferous Coral, near to Ingleton, North Yorkshire, Great Britain. Seen in the ex Quarry <a href="https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2140284">SD6974 : Ex Limestone Quarry</a> this coral has been fossilised upside down. Possibly washed here by a storm or strong tide (there is evidence for strong tides).
