Description: Figure of a Xianbei warrior Northern Dynasties (A.D. 286 - 581) Excavated in Jing County, Hebei Province, 1948 This figure is clad in the military uniform of the Xianbei people; with a covered "wind hat", trousers, short upper tunic and a cape tied around the neck, the outfit was designed to protect one against the wind and dust.
