Description: The CBS logo, designed by William Golden. The logo depicts an eye. Originally uploaded by Estoy Aquí. Based upon an 1850s Quaker design of the all seeing eye, it was first unveiled in October 1951 with no accompanying copyright. No copyright was ever filed, but it continues to be protected by trademark.
