Description: Site of Corral Hollow — California Historical Landmark # 755, near Tracy in San Joaquin County, California. The Edward B. Carrell home at Corral Hollow was built here, at the site of an Indian village on El Camino Viejo, the old inland Spanish and Mexican trail in Alta California. Through here passed the '49ers and the first mail to the Tuolumne mines, during the California Gold Rush. An approximate location, as no historical marker could be located as of Nov. 2012.
