After considerable correspondence we were able to ascer- tain that the type of Euproserpiniis phaeton G. & R. is in the British Museum. Specimens of our local forms were sent to Mr. W. H. Tams of the B. )M. Department of Entomolog)- for comparison with this type, and we now learn, through the cour- tesy of Captain X. D. Riley, Keeper of Entomology at the Brit- ish Museum, and of )\Ir.
