Description: This was captioned "Loring, a fishing village". Loring, on the west side or Revillagigedo Island, had a cannery and a fish hatchery. Photographer's number appears to be 7992. The Alaska State library has a copy of this image [1], which they attribute to William H Partridge. They say the ship in the background at left is probably the SS Ancon
