Description: Queen Victoria Memorial.—Unveiled in 1911 by King George V. and Queen Mary. Situated in St. James' Park in front of Buckingham Palace. The home of King George is of regal size, but cannot be described as impressive in a beautiful way. It was built by George IV., and has spacious gardens attached, on which the Royal apartments look forth towards Constitution Hill. Its position has been splendidly enhanced by an enlarged and decorated approach.
