Description: The Oxborough dirk is a large ceremonial weapon from the Bronze Age. It was found in 1988 protruding from a peat bog near Oxborough, Norfolk. It is one of only five large dirks known in north-west Europe. It dates to 1450-1300 BC. It measures 70.9 cm long and 2.37 kg. It is currently on display at the British Museum
