Description: Brimham Rocks, North Yorkshire, England. This is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, designated for its geological and biological significance. Showing Cup and Ring stone. This lies on Brimham Moor, just outside the National Trust Brimham Rocks SSSI zone, but being on the Moor it is connected. There were once two of these engraved rocks on the Moor, but one was transported to Leeds Museum for safety, and was then bombed and lost during World War II.
