Image: Booklet of A Boat Cast Adrift (Ukifune)
Description: An illustrated book of en:The Tale of Genji. It contains two "ink-line" (hakubyō) paintings. Finding herself entangled in a love triangle, Ukifune nervously faces her inkstone and brush as she considers how to reply. Artwork was lent to an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art by the en:Museum of Japanese Art (Yamato Bunkakan).
