Description: Bonjon or Bonjorn - Cooked eggplant with potatoes and tomatoes. It is eaten with Afghani or Pita bread and is usually prepared for lunch, but can also be served as a side dish with any meal. The white sauce on its side is Afghani home-made plain yogurt with tiny bits of garlic and a sprinkle of dried mint leaves, which comes with most dishes.
