Description: Bocksbraten is a specialty in the surroundings of Bamberg, which is usually offered for the Kirchweih. The meat of adult goats is used, occasionally also meat pieces from the goat. Due to the intense taste of the meat, the meat, like Sauerbraten, is put into a vinegar stain for several days. The boiled meat is served with a blood sauce and dumplings.
