Description: Roadside view of the northern side and western end of the Baker Wine Cellar, which lies along the eastern side of Kentucky Route 19 on the southern edge of Augusta, Kentucky, United States. Built in 1850, it is one of the few survivors of Bracken County's wine production business, which led the entire nation during the 1870s, and it was a refuge for many local residents when Confederate soldiers raided the city in 1862. The cellar is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
