Description: My father took this photo in Bermuda while he was station there at Kindley Air Force Base. We were there from 1952-54. This photo was taken at Kindley Air Force Base. This shows the Boeing 377 Stratocruiser Cathay. Queen Elizabeth visited Bermuda on November 24-25 in 1953 and Winston Churchill visited for the Bermuda Conference only a week or two later both using this type of aircraft. I think this is probably a photo taken during Churchill's visit from Dec. 4-8 1953 and is probably the aircraft that brought him there for that conference. It is probably not associated with the visit by the Queen as I understand her aircraft was called the Canopus.
