Description: An overall view of the Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge 5.1, or Willamette River Bridge of BN (now of BNSF) in Portland, Oregon, in 1985, when the 1908 bridge was still a swing-span bridge. The main span was converted into a vertical-lift span in 1989. This view is looking southwest. Caption given in HAER documentation: "OR 7-41. General view of bridge from St. Johns Bluff, looking southwest."
