Description: The Argonaut Building—former General Motors Research Laboratory, seen from the west — in the New Center area of Detroit, Michigan. Located across from Cadillac Place, and near the Fischer Building. Renamed in 2009 the Taubman Center for Design Education, of the College for Creative Studies. The Art Deco style high-rise, designed by Albert Kahn in 1930, is on the National Register of Historic Places in Detroit.
