The illustration is titled "Ardencaple Castle, Dumbartonshire, the property of Sir James Colquhoun, Baronet" and is shown between pages 110-111. The illustration is unattributed within the book. The lifespan of the author of the book was 1816-1898; and it is assumed the creator of the painting would have had lived in roughly the same era.
