Description: Anti hero? The statue of General Charles Gordon (of Khartoum) in front of the main entrance to Robert Gordon University. When I was at an English primary school in the 1960s he was still regarded as a Victorian hero, but I suspect that few 21st Century children have ever heard of him... Tempus fugit...
