Description: The bunched habit is revealed along mowed roadsides during late summer where the cool season grasses (e.g., Bromus inermis) have not put on growth since mid summer mowing whereas Andropogon has. Most of the warm season grass diversity and abundance in eastern Montana is found roadside and not as much in native vegetation cover (where such exists).
