Description: Pipe organ in SS Peter and Mary Magdalene parish church, Barnstaple, Devon. One of the largest organs in Devon. John Crang made it in 1764, paid for by Sir George Aymand, Bart (1720–1766), MP for Barnstaple 1754–66.[1] It is decorated with his armorials: Vert, a chevron between three gauntlets or with an inescutcheon of unidentified arms. The current organ case was designed by John Oldrid Scott and made in 1882.
