Description: Abandoned Hudson Bay Company post halfway between Cape Dorset and Kimmirut on the south shore of Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada. If the post had been built in the broad valley to the east instead of this rugged little cove, it might have initiated a community. Shadow on righthand side of aerial image is from shooting through plexiglass. Now called Qarmaarjuit
