Description: Picture of the historical marker for the old Allegheny Market House. The marker is located across from the old Allegheny Post Office and the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh at 10 Children's Way in the Allegheny Center neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Though the market house no longer exists, it was built in 1863 and is on the List of Pittsburgh Landmarks recognized by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation (PHLF). The market house was located at approximately 40° 27' 8.44" N, 80° 0' 18.03" W.
