Description: Aerial Photography Before the First World War Aerial view of Netheravon "Concentration Camp" in Wiltshire shortly before the outbreak of the First World War. This photograph was taken during British Army trials of mobilisation procedures and manoeuvres. The photographer used a Panros camera mounted in a Maurice Farman aircraft. This mission led to the discovery of the art of photographic interpretation for aerial photographs.
