(Riverton, an Acland heiress married by Baldwin Acland of Acland, son of John II Acland and Alicia Hawkridge (Vivian, Lt.Col. J.L., (Ed.) The Visitations of the County of Devon: Comprising the Heralds' Visitations of 1531, 1564 & 1620, Exeter, 1895, p.3); the estate of Riverton is near Acland, Landkey. 4th: Argent, two bendlets wavy sable (Hawkworthy, an Acland heiress, for Cicely Hawkworthy, daughter and co-heiress of Robert Hawkworthy, wife of Robert Acland of Acland (son of Baldwin Acland and Joane Riverton (Vivian, p.3)) 5th: Argent a bend engrailed sable on a crescent gules for difference a mullet argent for difference (Radcliffe, for Margaret Radcliffe, daughter and co-heiress of Hugh Radcliffe of Stepney, wife of John VI Acland (d.1553) of Acland (Vivian, p.3)) ; 6th: Or, on a fesse dancetté between three billets azure each charged with a lion rampant of the first three bezants (Rolle, for Elizabeth Rolle, a daughter of George Rolle (d.1552) of Stevenstone, and 1st wife of Sir John Acland (d.1620) of Broadclyst (Vivian, p.3)). Crest above: a man's dexter arm embowed couped at the shoulder wrist in a glove lying fessways fingers pointing to sinister thereon a falcon perched facing to dexter, all proper (Acland, perhaps taken from crest or arms of Hawkridge)
