Description: Sign along US-129 pointing the way to the Abrams Creek Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the southeastern United States. Abrams Creek, which flows from Cades Cove to the Little Tennessee River, was named for the Cherokee Chief Old Abraham of Chilhowee. The ancient Cherokee village of Chilhowee was located at the creek's confluence with the Little Tennessee River.
