Description: Abernethy Round Tower The slender round tower which is of Irish style was probably built in the 9th or 10th century and is one of only two examples in Scotland - the other being at Brechin. 74 feet high. Access to the tower can be obtained by collecting a key from the local tearoom across the village square!
