Description: 7413 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA, in the extension of the Colonial Germantown Historic District on the NRHP. The NRHP inventory states that it was built c. 1790-1800 by Francis and Susanna Bockius. It is a 3 story, 4 rank stone sidegabled residence. There's a columned, flatroofed frontispiece. The windows are 6 over 6 doublehung and there is a dentil cornice. Fire damage was repaired in 1920 and the garage was built in 1923. A 1969 attempt to demolish it failed. It is considered Significant to the HD according to the inventory.
