Description: On November 1st 2000, an empty Royal Mail train slammed into the back of a loaded coal train at Lawrence Hill station in Bristol. The mail train's locomotive was knocked off the track and catapulted over the other train. The driver of the mail train suffered head injuries in the crash. The cause of the crash was not immediately known, but officials said that the mail train had passed through two red lights.
