The NRHP Nomination inventory lists it as "Masonic Hall, c. 1873; alterations 1915, G. King and Company, architects; alterations 1920, E. Weightman, architect, three stories, stone with wood trim, Gothic Revival style. --- Significant" PHMC marker in front states that Louisa May Alcott was born on the site (before the building of course)
