Description: Photo 1 of a series of 3 photos of the January 2018 total lunar eclipse, as seen from Chelsea, Victoria, Australia. This first photo – taken at 11:48pm AEST – shows the moon about 90% in shadow. Apologies for the blurry photos, which were crudely taken using a point-and-shoot camera hand-held over the eyepiece of a telescope, and which I have not sharpened or otherwise retouched.
