Description: Known as the Subaru Brat in Japan and America (Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter) and Brumby in Australia, it was available from 1978-94. The Brat was introduced to match the demand for small trucks in the USA, from Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda. Unlike these trucks, all Brat had four-wheel drive, being developed from the existing Leone station wagon. Power was 1600 or 1800cc 4 cylinder Photographed at Pebbles Beach
