Description: This 1699 dish comes from the Odler workshop in Dechtice, Slovakia. The Odlers were a family of craftsman who had converted to Catholicism from the Anabaptist community. This is one of their well known blue and white wares. It is today located in the Koerner European Ceramic Gallery of UBC's Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, Canada.
