Description: The 14th Regiment Armory at 1402 Eighth Avenue between 14th and 15th Streets in the South Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City was built in 1891-95 and was designed by Walter A. Mundell. The statue of a World War I doughboy in front by Anton Scaaf dates from 1923. The building was designated a NYC landmark in 1998.
