Horseshoe Beach is a town in southern Dixie County, Florida, United States. The town is part of Big Bend and the Nature Coast in North Florida, along the Gulf of Mexico. The population was 165 at the 2020 census.
Geography
The approximate coordinates for the Town of Horseshoe Beach is located in southern Dixie County at 29°26′26″N 83°17′20″W / 29.44056°N 83.28889°W (29.440547, –83.288776), on the Gulf of Mexico. County Road 351 is the only highway into the town; it leads 19 miles (31 km) northeast to Cross City, the Dixie County seat.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town of Horseshoe Beach has a total area of 0.48 square miles (1.25 km2), of which 0.45 square miles (1.17 km2) is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 km2), or 6.63%, is water.
