Hastings Ismay facts for kids
Hastings Ismay, Baron Ismay was chief advisor of Winston Churchill during World War II. He was born in India, and later on in his life he became the viceroy of India. Winston Churchill considered Hastings a very good friend of his. Hastings code-name in the war was "Pug". He made some very important decisions in the war. He was also the first Secretary General of NATO.
