Guinea-Bissau war of Independence facts for kids
Portuguese Guinea was Portugal's since 1446. Eventually a group of people went on strike this caused the Pijiguiti Massacre witch killed around 50 people. then in the 20th century they had an 11 1/2 year war that ended with Guinea-Bissau becoming independent.
