Fibrous protein facts for kids
A fibrous protein or scleroprotein is one of the three main types of proteins. The others are globular and membrane proteins).
There are many types of scleroprotein, such as keratin, collagen, elastin, and fibroin. Such proteins protect and support. They form connective tissue, tendons, bone matrices, and muscle fibre.
