Elizabethan era facts for kids
The Elizabethan era was a time in the history of England. It is generally seen as the time period of the reign of Elizabeth I, from 1558 to 1603. It is also the time of Renaissance architecture in England. During that time, the economy prospered. Even though it happened during a time when there was a conflict between Catholics and Protestants in England, Elizabeth could keep these problems from spreading.
