History
1900's
Eldon was a busy town in the early 1900s when logging operations were extensive on the upper Hamma Hamma River.
1920's
Constructed in 1924, two identical concrete tied-arch bridges that span the South Hamma Hamma River and North Hamma Hamma River on either side of Eldon are listed in the National Register for the innovative engineering employed at the time of construction.
In 1925, Eldon Store; Eldon's biggest gas station was believed to be constructed.
1930's
A CCC side camp was stationed near the Hamma Hamma River.
2018
The 2018 Maple Fire occurred in Mason County SW of Brinnon, WA in and near Eldon. The trees burned for almost 3 months and it costed 4.5 million dollars to contain.
