Dolores Francine Rhiney facts for kids
Dolores Francine Rhiney (New York, 1929) is an American model and actress and was the first African-American to work on a catwalk.
She was born in the New York district of Harlem and took his first steps in the world of fashion. In 1952 she moved to Europe before in Paris and then stopped in Rome where made her debut in January 1953 on the catwalk of Palazzo Pitti in Florence (challenging the conventions of the time) with the fashion designer Vincenzo Ferdinandi.
