Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (English: The Brave Hearted Will Take the Bride) is a 1995 Bollywood movie directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Chopra. It had Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in the title roles. Anupam Kher, Amrish Puri, and Farida Jalal played supporting roles. The music was composed by Jatin Lalit while lyrics were by Anand Bakshi. It was released on Diwali 1995 and became a blockbuster. In addition, the movie has been showing at the Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai for 25 years making the longest time the movie has been screened.
